Abuse thrives in isolation and DAWN has continued to see an increase in need for our services, with survivors still being heavily impacted by COVID- 19. However, despite the pandemic, DAWN is still able to provide help and hope for DV survivors and their families. During the first half of 2021, they provided 9,637 life-saving services to 779 survivors.
Unfortunately, the pandemic has also negatively impacted the number of donations they have received, which is why donations that come through WMFHA, along with your support, are so crucial during this time. Though we sadly cannot come together in-person for the annual Chili Cook-off for everyone's health and safety, we can still support DAWN's vital programs for domestic violence survivors and their children. Please give generously if you can, your support will literally save lives!
