About Us

Since 1980, DAWN’s been a leading domestic violence agency in South King County. Serving over 1,500 clients annually, DAWN and offers a wide variety of domestic violence services including but not limited to mobile advocacy, legal advocacy, immigrant advocacy, youth advocacy, and community service officer (CSO) advocacy, mental health services including counseling, support groups and Children Domestic Violence Response Team (CDVRT), and one of the few fully confidential emergency shelters in Washington state. DAWN's mission is to stand will all survivors of domestic abuse, help them rebuild their lives, and strive to make our communities safer by preventing and addressing domestic violence through education and advocacy.
